Founder and Director The Stylus Awards is the brainchild of Mike Zafiris, founder of Flavor Record Pool. Flavor, the country’s only national DJ network and music service provider, has been at the forefront of Canada’s urban DJ movement for the past 15 years. During that time, Mike has taken the pool from a roster of only 15 local members, and developed it into a 150-member network of the country’s top DJs. Mike has been organizing major urban events for many years, having thrown his annual Flavor awards from 1995 through 2000. He also co-created “The Urban Pool Awards,” a monumental awards event in the urban community which ran from 2002 to 2004.
