We are Media Vandals, a creative agency based in Ontario, Canada. Despite the tough name, we are dedicated to weaving magic for our clients. For over 15 years, we have been spearheaded by Brandon Heard, the visionary head of our creative operations, and recently added Ryan Taylor, to mastermind our creative direction. Together, they have won prestigious awards such as the Canadian Marketing Association Awards and multiple Canadian Country Music Awards for design and project management. RYAN TAYLOR - Creative Direction

Ryan Taylor

Ryan Taylor brings a dynamic creative vision to Media Vandals, consistently elevating clients to new heights. A graduate of Durham College in 2003, Ryan has a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for innovation. He currently serves on the Canadian Marketing Association’s Creative Council, where he provides thought leadership and insights that shape the future of marketing.


Living in Pickering, Ryan is also an active member of his community, sitting on the Board of Directors for the Pickering Football Club. His extensive experience includes working with renowned brands such as Air Miles, Shell, BMO, and Rogers, helping them create impactful experiences across various channels.


As the Senior Art Director at Air Miles, Ryan, along with his partner, acts as the custodian and gatekeeper of the client brand, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, look, and feel. His expertise spans a wide range of mediums, including TV, print, OOH, direct mail, email, social media, online and mobile ads, rebrands, corporate identities, POS and retail theatre, experiential and event marketing, UX, and even pro sports partnerships and arena signage.


Ryan’s comprehensive approach and dedication to excellence make him an invaluable asset to both Media Vandals and his clients, driving successful and innovative campaigns that resonate with audiences.

BRANDON HEARD - Lead Creative | Project Management

Brandon Heard

Brandon Heard has nurtured a passion for professional design since 2004, excelling in both corporate and independent projects. A graduate of graphic design from Durham College, he is currently focusing on corporate and commercial design for Media Vandals. He thrives in project management and is renowned for his ability to see jobs through to completion.

 

Brandon is a winner of the 2018 CCMA Creative Director of the Year Award and the CCMA 2015 Album Design of the Year Award. His impressive client roster includes Mazda Canada, Shaw Media, The Toronto Star, Astral Media, Ford of Canada, The National Post, Ubisoft Canada, MINI, Front Row Center Music & Entertainment Marketing, and The Glenn Gould Foundation.

 

In addition to his design expertise, Brandon has served on the Port Hope & District Board of Directors as well as both the Strategic Planning  and Technology Committees, demonstrating his leadership and strategic vision. His specialties encompass graphic design, print design, web design, corporate branding, pre-press set-up, colour correction, large format printing (Oce, HP, Onyx), vehicle wrap design, production, and large format digital installations.

With more than 20 years experience in web development, graphic design and the music industry; as well as diplomas in Music Business Management & Web Development from Durham College and Online Music Marketing with Topspin from Berklee College of Music, Sheila brings a unique angle of experience to both the marketing industry and web development.

Focusing on educating the importance of viral marketing in the digital age, as well as providing a vast array of services, Sheila has created a company that understands the needs of the client and guides them in achieving their goals.
